What this does
Extracts the selectable text from your PDF and writes it into an editable Word (.docx) file. It does notreproduce the original layout, fonts, columns, tables or images — it's a practical, honest text conversion. Scanned (image-only) PDFs have no text layer and can't be converted here.PDF to Word

Honest limitations
- No layout preservation. This extracts text only. Columns, tables, exact spacing, fonts and images are not reproduced — you re-apply formatting in your editor.
- Scanned PDFs won't work. Image-only / scanned PDFs have no text layer. OCR isn't available in the browser; use the PDF Editor mobile app for scans.
- Complex documents need cleanup. Heavily designed PDFs (multi-column, footnotes) extract as a readable text stream that you'll want to tidy up.
